Beverly Clemons, President of CMI Consulting, LLC, has lived in Lexington since 1989 and worked for another human-resources consulting firm owned by Richard E. "Dick" Blanchard for a number of years. "I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to work for this man and witness the incredible staff he had put together, and the amazing business he had created. Several years later when he sold the company, I partnered with my former boss to create a company committed to providing the same excellent service and assistance that our clients had grown accustomed to."

Beverly became the sole-owner of CMI Consulting, LLC on April 1, 2000. Since that time, the client list has continued to grow and CMI now has clients nationally and globally, in addition to a large, dedicated customer base in Kentucky.

Another component of Beverly's own professional happiness and sense of accomplishment is nurturing the relationships she develops through networking and her civic and charitable involvement.

An active member in the Bluegrass Chapter and National Society for Human Resource Managers (former Secretary, current co-chair of the Diversity Committee and Board Member), Commerce Lexington (BOAB Steering Committee, and former Chair of the Ambassador and Education Committees, member of the Small Business Celebration Committee, as well as Volunteer of the Year in 2001), National Association of Women Business Owners (current Board Member, past co-Chair of the Membership Committee, President Elect), Professional Women's’ Forum (current co-chair of the Programs Committee), Japanese American Society of Kentucky, Partners for Youth, among many others. Beverly leads by example, encouraging each member of her staff to be involved. “We believe in the importance of giving back to our community. Each year we participate and contribute to various causes and events including the Susan G. Komen Drive for the Cure, Shop with a Cop, American Heart Association, Florence Crittenden Home, All God’s Children, and many, many others.”
